Advanced Flow Technologies provides Backflow Inspecting, Installation & Repair services for properties in the San Antonio and Austin areas. Combined we have been certified with the State of Texas for over 40 years. We have experience working with Backflow Preventors on systems as small as residential irrigation to as big as 10" process water for manufacturing. Our goal is to keep the Backflow Program at the high standard the State of Texas intended it to be.

 

Our Backflow Services includes inspecting your Backflow Valve or Valves and filing your paperwork with the proper entity. Any Backflow Valves not meeting TCEQ's standards can be brought up to code by AFT wether it needs to be repaired or replaced. AFT is licensed for testing all of the backflow preventors located on a property including domestic, irrigation, fire.

CROSS CONNECTION

A physical connection between drinkable water and a liquid or gas that could make the water unsafe to drink (wherever there is a cross connection, there is a potential threat to public health from the liquid or gas contaminants).

BACKFLOW

Water flowing opposite to its intended direction, either from a loss of pressure in the supply lines or an increase in pressure on the customer’s side (in either of these situations, if any affected customer’s pipes include a cross connection, contaminants could be drawn through the cross connection into that customer’s pipes—and, if the backflow continues, perhaps even into the water mains).
