Experienced Hot Tapping Contractor

The ability to safely tie-in to a pressurized system while under full operating conditions.

A Hot Tap is the method of cutting a hole in an existing pressurized pipeline to make a new connection without service interruption or product loss. The new connection can be installed to the existing pipe in many different ways. This depends on what type of valve you are using, the pressure of the existing system and the temperature of the existing system. Start by using a Mechanical Saddle or welding your valve fittings to the existing pipe. Install Full Ported Valves, most common are gate valves and ball valves. We recommend installing the shortest distance possible from the valve to the pipe for a shorter stroke when Hot Tap Service is performed. Our machine will connect to the threaded or flanged valve and be pressure tested to ensure all new fittings are sealed before performing Hot Tap Service. When a Hot Tap is performed, the double wired pilot bit retains the coupon and it is recovered when the Hot Tap is completed.
