The IV 250 Patriot Series from Hydra-Stop is a PERMANENT resilient seat wedge insertion valve that uses an engineered reinforced composite polymer valve cartridge to stop flow in all types of pipe and can be installed under pressure, up to 250 psi.

How it works:

Hydra-Stop's IV 250 Patriot Series insertion valves provide a means to install a permanent valve with no interruption of flow through the pipe and no reduction of line pressure (up to 250 psi). The installation of an IV250 Patriot Series valve is accomplished through a single circular hole cut (known as a "hot tap") under full line pressure into the top of the pipe with no reaming. The IV 250 Patriot Series insertion valve permanently remains in place allowing for system control and maintenance in the same manner as a resilient seated gate valve.
